Fireworks set for July 6

The Lavaca-Navidad River Authority board of directors met on June 18 at the Harry Hafernick Center and took action on outstanding bond issues and other topics concerning Jackson County improvement. The fireworks will start at dark by the gazebo area. No cars will be allowed past the first gates, but the main parking can be found in the empty field across from the Hafernick Center. Other parking areas will be the gravel road leading into the park and out by the Main Event Center. There will be limited seating because of the prior campers in the area, but there should be room for everybody.
