Industrial High School coaches held a football camp from July 13-15 at the Cobra practice fields to teach and prepare Rattlers for the years to come. Names were unavailable at press time.

The Ganado Minor All-Stars played Calhoun in their first game and lost, 6-21, and beat Edna in their second game, 19-3. They beat Industrial in their third game, 18-10. The team played Calhoun again and lost, 13-2, putting them out of the tournament. The Jackson County Thunder played Flatonia and lost, 5-8, making it their last game. Austin Smith was 2-5 and Chris Whitehead was 1-4 with a triple and two runs batted in. The weather wasn’t kind to the Thunder team this year, with many games cancelled because of rain. Jordan Pacheco uses his skills to pitch for the Jackson County Thunder team in a game against the LaGrange Demons.

    The Edna Major All-Star girls have had an overall winning season! Their first game was a victory against Ganado with a final score of 17-7, and their second game was a victory against Calhoun with a final score of 14-12.
    Their third game against Calhoun the girls lost, with a final score of 10-11. Their fourth game was against Calhoun again, their final game, and won with a final score of 6-5. This gave them the title of 2015 Little League Texas East District 27 Champions.

The Edna Major All-Star girls became 2015 District Champions last week and will begin competing on July 10 in Rosenberg in the next bracket.
