A true patriot awarded

Thomas Roznovsky presented the Patriot Award to Director of Nursing Tammy Zajicek at the Aug. 22 Jackson County Hospital Board meeting. Roznovsky, a nurse at the hospital, nominated Zajicek for the award in recognition for the support she has given him in fulfilling his military, work, and family obligations. The award, issued by the Secretary of Defense, recognizes deserving employers whose support and good will are important to retaining highly skilled and qualified members of the Guard and Reserve.
