Prenatal Services coming to clinic

Pregnant women in and around Jackson County will now have local prenatal care available to them, thanks to a collaboration between DeTar Health System and Jackson County Hospital.
Jace Jones, program administrator of Community Mother and Child Health Center, said Judy Gilley, a family nurse practitioner with more than 10 years experience, will see prenatal patients at the Jackson County Medical Clinic one-half day each week. While Gilley will make prenatal care more accessible to Medicaid and uninsured patients, Jones said she will also see patients who have insurance.
