Church welcomes new pastor

Lakeway Fellowship at 614 W. Main St. has a new pastor, Jeff Jud. Jeff, his wife Laura, and their two sons, Kris and Jourdon, have recently moved to Edna and are looking forward to serving in the local community.
One of Jeff's life verses, John 14:6, "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me'", keeps him focused on God's purpose for us individually and for himself as pastor. It is only in knowing Jesus that we can recover from life's hurts, habits and hang-ups – which is what happens on Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m., during Celebrate Recovery.
