Joan Groves

Joan Groves, 60, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013. She was born in Ganado on Nov. 26, 1952 to the late George S. and Dorthy Quinn Tompkins.
Joan is survived by her daughters Shelly Renee Pesek and Leslie Dawn Pesek and husband Jeffery; son, Drake Dillon Groves; brothers George Tompkins and wife Wanda, Alfred Tompkins and wife Evelyn, Charles Tompkins and wife Jeanine; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Clint Lee Miller, sisters, Betty Thompson and Ann Elison; and brother, James Tompkins.
Funeral services were July 22 at 10 a.m. at the Slavik Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Tompkins officiating. Interment followed in the Red Bluff Cemetery.
