Rain brings some relief

According to the Lavaca-Navidad River Authority, parts of Jackson County received 1.26 inches of rain from 7 a.m. on July 7 to 7 a.m. on July 8, helping alleviate the drought. Along with the rain comes some minor inconveniences as well. City of Edna employees were kept busy unclogging drains in flooded streets.
