Residents line up to apply for ESD positions

Jackson County Commissioners heard and interviewed 16 Emergency Services District No. 3 Commissioner applicants during at a special commissioners’ court meeting on May 30.
The following is a list of the 16 applicants: David James Bell, Jason Chandler, Donna Coleman, James P. (Jim) Curlee, Julio Espinosa, Allan Friedrich, Cindy Curlee Greer, Larry Horton, Doug Kelley, Thomas Larkin, Christina Mulenex, Jake Srp, Russell Todish, P.J. Ulbricht, Michael Warren and James Whitley.
“Commissioners shall appoint Emergency Services District commissioners to serve until January 1 of the year following the district election,” Jackson County Judge Dennis Simons said. “Of January 1, the court shall designate three of those emergency services commissioners to serve a two-year-term and two of those Emergency Services commissioners to serve a one-year-term. From there after it’s a two-year-term.”
