Cowboys pluck Luling Eagles

    The Edna Cowboys started their season with a win at home against the Luling Eagles, 34-25.     Both the Cowboys defense and Eagles defense came out very strong, forcing several three and outs. 

“A win is a win, and that's all that really matters,” said Edna senior wide out/defensive back Cade Orsak. “There are a lot of little sloppy details that need to be worked on with offense, defense and special teams.     “Everyone has their own jobs that they need to get better at, and if we do that we will come back next time and be even better.”

    “We’ll keep working harder in practice, and pick up our execution level,” said Coach Nairn. The Cowboys dedicate a week to practice, then travel to East Bernard Sept. 9, kickoff at 7:30 p.m.
