Fannie Kneblick

Fannie Lee Kneblick, of Edna, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at the age of 93. She was born Feb. 25, 1923, in Lavaca County, to the late Tom Chivers and Martha E. Einkauf Chivers.     Fannie was a homemaker, she loved the outdoors and taking care of her animals, hunting, fishing. She also spent time sewing, crocheting, quilting and with great talent, and most of all she loved her Phillip, family and her Peanut.     She is survived by her loving family nieces and nephews, Eunice Brewer (Fred), Doris Warncke (Fritz), Johnny Streetman (Debbie), James Utsey (Shirley), John Streetman (Ruth), Steve Streetman (Annie), Rhonda Kresta (Rick), Lanelle Olsovsky (James), Velma Kiefer (Jeff), and Shirley Odela (Perry); adopted family, A.J. and Judy Carter, Jim Carter (Christine), Lee Ann Bowen (Craig), Amy Shedd (Clayton); eight great-grandchildren, 28 great nieces and nephews; 20 great-great-nieces andnephews; and sister, Agnes Kneblick.     Fannie is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Phillip Kneblick; sisters, Emma Rae Chivers, Sally Williams, Ethel Streetman, Lallie Streetman; brother, Henry D. Chivers; niece, Darlene Stevens; and nephews, Charles Wayne Streetman, Billy Streetman, and Robert Sullins.     Visitation will be held on Friday, May 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Oaklawn Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 21 at 10 a.m. in the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Inez. Rev. Gabriel Bentil will be officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Inez.     Pallbearers will be John Streetman, Steve Streetman, Johnny Streetman, Justin Streetman, Steve Webel, and Jeff Kieffer.     Honorary pallbearers are Jim Carter, William Webel, Craig Mier, Chris Mier, Lance Mascheck, and Lee Putnam.     Arrangements are under the direction of Oaklawn Funeral Home in Edna. 361-782-2221.
