Sparks - Boswell exchange vows

Stacey Nicole Sparks and Christopher Granson Boswell, both of Austin, were married at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 23, 2013 at Villa Antonio Chapel in Jamestown. Pastor Donald Read officiated the double ring ceremony.
Stacey is the daughter of Donny and Kyleen Sparks of Edna and Dr. Daryl and Michelle Bickford of Victoria.
Stacey’s grandparents are Billy and Carolyn Sparks of Ganado, Lloyd and Glenda Meyer of Port Lavaca, Thad and Trish Mercer of Ganado and George and Tukta Filkins of Saudi Arabia. Her great-grandfather is Truman Brasuell of Edna.
Chris is the son of Samuel and Barbara Boswell of Louisville, Ky. He is the grandson of Maxine Fields of Louisville, Ky. and the late Adrian Fields and the late William Granson and Susan Boswell.
Stacey’s sister, Kayla Bieck of Midland, served as her matron of honor. Maid of honor was Rachel Griffey of San Antonio and bridesmaids were Rae Magel of Houston and Holly Cranek of Louise, friends of the bride, and her sister Shelby Sparks of Edna. Junior bridesmaid was her sister Kelsey Sparks of Edna.
Flower girls were Maddy Knox of Seattle, Wash., Stacey’s niece, and Ella Furler of Kyle, the bride’s friend.
Honorary bridesmaids were Jodi Torrez of San Marcos, C.C. Hunt of Albany, N.Y. and Victoria Black of Kyle, all friends of Stacey.
Chris’ longtime friend Danny McEachron of Mason, Ohio attended as best man. Groomsmen were Brandon Ferguson of Chattanooga, Tenn., Thomas Bullins of Louisville, Ky., and Paul Pippin of Louisville, Ky., all friends of the groom.
Also attending was Ben Metten of Louisville, Ky., Chris’ cousin.
Ringbearers were Levi Metten of Louisville, Ky., Chris’s cousin and Colin and Carter Bastett of College Station, Stacey’s godsons.
Performing the ushering duties were Luke Bieck of Midland, brother-in-law of Stacey, her uncle Michael Filkins of Cypress, and her friend Javier Garcia of Austin.
Scripture readers were Pam Sparks of Cibolo, Stacey’s aunt and Eric Filkins of Cypress, her uncle.
Stacey and her attendants carried silk bouquets accented with rhinestone brooches. They were designed by Stacey and her Nana Sparks.
