Lonie Mae Nyegaard

Lonie Mae Nyegaard, 81, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013. She was born Nov. 30, 1931 in Port Lavaca, to the late William Dave and Willie (Bill) Newell Fleeman. Lonie was a longtime rancher in the area.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Montello and husband Rodney, a son, David Nyegaard and wife Sarah. She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Nyegaard, son, Lawrence Michael Nyegaard and a brother, Bobby Joe Fleeman.
Visitation will be at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, March 22 with the service following at 1 p.m. at the Ganado Funeral Home Chapel, 800 So. Third St., Ganado, with Rev. Buck Ritchea officiating.
Pallbearers will be Bubba McDonald, Colt Adams, Jerry Crowell, John Reeves, Joe Espinosa and Wilbur Cleveland. Her grandchildren will be honorary pallbearers.
