Gene Ratliff competed against 62 Junior Steer Riders at the World Finals in Abilene, Aug. 5-8. Ratliff covered three of four steers and placed him in the top 10 Junior Steer Riders of the 2015 World Finals. Ratliff is the son of Budd and Jaime Ratliff of LaVernia. His grandparents are Bryan and Becky Miska, Kal Ratliff, John and Chris Pribyl and Richard and Bonnie Palmer.
