Dorothy "Jeanie" Pahmiyer

Dorothy (Jeanie) Pahmiyer, 76, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013. She was born Dec. 13, 1936 in Victoria to the late Ed Otto and Birtha Pahmiyer.
Jeanie was a beautician in the area for many years. She is survived by her daughter Julie Simek and husband James; brother August Pahmiyer; grandchildren, Christopher Chewning, Kendrick Shelton, Matthew Shelton, Josh Simek and wife Staci, Justin and James, Jr. Simek; and great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Lilly Simek.
Visitation will be Friday, March 15 from 6-8 p.m. at the Slavik Funeral Home, 209 N. Allen St. Edna. Services will be Saturday, March 16 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Vanderbilt with Rev. Jack Hutson officiating. Interment will be in the Red Bluff Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Steven Shelton, Christopher Chewning, Josh Simek, Felex Lopez, Kendrick Shelton and Matthew Shelton.
