Cobra baseball camp invites all county kids

    The Industrial Baseball Fundamentals Camp will be held from Monday, June 15 to Wednesday, June 17, at the Industrial High School baseball field. ALL JACKSON COUNTY CHILDREN ARE WELCOME. The camp will be led by coaches Zach Marlow, Cobra Head baseball; Mike Marlow, Giddings Head baseball; and Ty Marlow, Former University of Texas baseball player.
    “We want to give all the baseball players of Jackson County the opportunity to learn the correct fundamental for the game of baseball,” said Zach Marlow. “Our goal is to promote proper techniques and keep the youth interested enough to keep the game headed in the right direction for Jackson County.”
    There are two sessions: all incoming third through fifth graders from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., and all incoming sixth through ninth graders from 10:30 to 12:30 p.m. The cost is $30 and there are 10 spots available in each session, based on a first come, first served basis.
