Jenieve Joyce Hubenak, 69, of Brazoria passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at West Houston Medical Center in Houston, Texas. She was born June 18, 1945 in La Salle, to Charlie Tater and Annie Dusek Tater.
She was a member of Grace Bible Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren dearly. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and friends. She loved traveling and working in her garden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcell William Hubenak, parents, and brothers, Marvin Tater, Wayne Tater and Jerome Tater.
She is survived by her loving and devoted daughters, Rebecca Hollen and husband Gary of Oyster Creek, Theresia Zarate and husband Epifanio of Edna and Diane Pate and husband Troy of Beaufort, North Carolina; step-daughter, Tracy Braum of Pasadena; brother, Charlie Tate and wife Marjorie of Victoria; sister-in-laws, Betty Hubenak of Johnson City, Janet Tater and Charlene Hubenak both of Edna, Sylvia Hubenak of Ganado and Paula Tater of Alvin; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held Friday, May 22 at 10 a.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Brazoria with Pastor Ernie Hutchings officiating.
