Flag City Cookers take first

The Flag City Cookers, representing the City of Edna, earned first place in the People’s Choice at the Fiddlers Frolics in Hallettsville April 25 and 26. According to Brad Ryan, team member, this is the fifth year in a row the Cookers won the Peoples Choice award. In addition, the team won seventh place in steak, first place in Showmanship/Best Pit Area, and first place in brisket. Bubba Smith was in charge of the steak and Will Alex, brisket.
