Indians get scratched

The Ganado Indians played at home against the Weimar Wildcats and lost 0-11. Principal and coach Andy Bridges said Weimar had the hits that afternoon.

"We made mistakes but we had three really good innings," he said. "We hit the ball we just kept hitting at them."

At the end of the first inning Weimar took their lead 2-0, but the Indians were playing back and making their own moves. Cameron Martinez pitched the game with Garrett McCann as his catcher.

Cody Plant, Caleb Thedford and Matt Bridges made some good moves for their team and made some memorable outs. By the end of the third inning Weimar had stretched their lead to 4-0. They steadily raised their score for the remainder of the game, making the final score 11-0.

The Indians will face Flatonia on Thursday, April 2, at home.
