Industrial Cobras lose to Jarrell
The Industrial Cobras (23-13) played the Jarrell Cougars in Bi-District matchup on Feb. 16, but lost with a score of 36-73. Jarrell was out to play that night, and had the upper hand throughout the game.
“Jarrell was a very offensively sound team, and they missed very few shots,” said Coach Valerie Smith. “My girls fought hard and never gave up.”
By halftime, Jarrell was up over 20 points, and the Cobras had only scored 18 points. Jarrell had 40 points. The game continued hard, and the Cobras couldn't pull out a win.
Kelsey VanPelt scored 13 points with two three-pointers, Sarah Kusak had seven points, Reagan Doyle score four points, and Sabrina Emiliano scored three points with a three-pointer. Skylar Chreene scored three points, Savhannah Kitchens scored three points, Taylor McGinnis had two points, and Cassidy High scored a point.
“I am very excited for our Cobra future and hope to play and learn from teams like Jarrell again,” Smith ended.
