Train experiencing mechanical problems

At approximately 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 22, the train that goes through Jackson County parallel to Highway 59 is experiencing mechanical problems for an unforseen amount of time. The streets blocked off at this time are Pumphrey, Allen, North Wells, East, Kleas, Carver, Eric and Peabody.
Chief Clinton Wooldridge said roads are open around Shelby Park and FM 1822 between the Edna High and Elementary Schools.
