Hard work pays off. Most of us hear it throughout our lives, and every now and then, we get to see in real time a moment when all of our focus and effort makes a goal come to fruition. For several of the students at Zen Martial Arts in Edna, that time is now.
Sensei Luis Jimenez took some of his students to the National Blackbelt League World Championships in New York last month.  The school brought back a number of awards, and parents and Sensei Luis are very proud of the work the students put into this event.
“We took seven students and me, and two of our students from Mexico came to the world championships.” said Jimenez.
