Historical marker commemorates story of Edna’s Mexican School

Students who attended the Edna Mexican School in the 1930s honored a Historical Marker erected by the Jackson County Historical Commission and teacher Luna Lucille Lindberg on July 19 at the Edna Elementary School. Family members of Lindberg were at the ceremony to honor her and the school. Frank Condron with the Jackson County Historical Commission opened the afternoon with some thoughts and introductions.
