Thank you for five great years

Many thanks to the Edna School Board and former Superintendent Bob Wells for allowing me to work for the district as principal of Edna Elementary for the past five years.
It has been a very rewarding and fulfilling experience to serve the students, families and the community of Edna. After 38 years in public education, of which 18 years as a principal in public schools, I have decided to make a career change and hopefully have more time to fish – my passion other than working with children.
I will be working for Calhoun County ISD as an educational diagnostician. I will certainly miss the smiling faces and warm hugs from the awesome students at Edna Elementary.
Many thanks to the parents and community for supporting the teachers and staff. The campus is committed to academic excellence and I encourage each of you to continue to support the campus as they continue to meet the demanding expectations set forth by the state of Texas. I will cherish my 5 years of service to Edna ISD and wish the campus and district many more years of success.
