Thunder loses to New Ulm Firemen in playoff game

Many Jackson County Thunder fans came out on June 29, only to have the season come to a close with a 16-14 loss to the New Ulm Firemen in round one of the playoffs.
Van Vleck’s Kade Kucera pitched seven innings, and Victoria’s Justin Oliver pitched two innings. Bay City’s Austin Smith also pitched and was charged with the loss.
