Local county agent Mike Hiller wins Texas award

    Good things have been happening for Mike Hiller, County Extension Agent in Agriculture and Natural Resources. He was recently informed that he was chosen to receive an Achievement Award from the Texas County Agricultural Agents Association this year because of all the work he does in the county through 4-H and agriculture alike.
    “My peers (fellow agents in the district) told me I should apply for it,” Hiller said. “This was my first year trying out, I didn’t think I stood a chance, I was surprised.”
    Only six agents out of Texas earned this award.  There are county agents in 250 of the 254 counties Texas has.
