Cobras win big

    The 2014 Texas State track & field meet was in Austin at the Mike A. Myers stadium on May 9-10. Students from Industrial and Ganado High School placed at that meet. Results are as follows:
    Industrial’s Mason Davis earned a bronze medal in the Shot Put category with a distance of 53-11.25; Industrial’s Lauren Brogger placed 8th in the triple jump with a distance of 36-00.25 and also earned a bronze medal in the long jump with a distance of 17-6.00; Industrial’s Will Maraggia placed 8th in the 800 M run with a time of 2:01.54; Industrial’s Sierra Pruitt placed 6th in the 100 M dash with a time of 12.41, and also placed 7th in the 200 M dash with a time of 25.80; Ganado’s Clay Vesely placed 7th in the 110 M hurdles with a time of 15.52.
