Two juveniles arrested for Carver fire

 

Two 14-year-old Edna boys arrested March 17 for setting a second fire at the old George Washington Carver School are now being accused of setting a much bigger fire at the school four days earlier, according to Edna Police Chief Clinton Wooldridge. 
  They have been charged with arson for both fires. The first fire resulted in significant damage to the east wing of the former school. 
Both juveniles were detained by the Edna Police Department and were taken to the Victoria Juvenile Facility on March 17 for the second fire. Both juveniles were later released to their guardian.
