Gary Michael Hamilton
    Gary Michael "Baby Roy" Hamilton passed away on February 5, 2014 at the age of 63, in Houston, after a short battle with cancer. He was born on March 7 to Henry J. and Mary Gene Hamilton.
    Mike graduated from Edna High School in 1968. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in Sept. 1968 and served a tour of duty in Vietnam. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in geology from Texas A&M University. He worked in the oil and gas field for Dow Chemical, Apache Corp., and was currently employed for Corum Production Company. 
    He leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Sharon Gloor Hamilton; daughter, Gretchen Pyle and husband John; son, Jason Hamilton, grandson, Judson Pyle; siblings, Katherine Davis and husband Ken, Linda Rehak and Leslie Hamilton. In addition, he is survived by several nieces and nephews and many wonderful and special friends.
    He was preceded in death by his brother, Harvey Hamilton, parents,  Henry J. and Mary Gene Hamilton and brother-in-law, Robert Rehak. 
    A memorial service will be held in the Houston area on Saturday, Feb 15 at 11 a.m. at Bear Creek Baptist Church (5901 N Fry Rd, Katy, TX 77449).
