Local vacation Bible schools

Shiloh Baptist Church, Edna, will hold Kingdom Kids Summer Camp M-F, weekly through July 28 for ages 4 to 14. Cost is $6 per day and lunch is provided. For more information call Alice Prince at 361-532-9987.

Edna Cowgirl softball all skills camp will be held Monday to Thursday, June 12-15, at Shelby Park for incoming fourth through ninth graders. Fourth through sixth, 5-6:30 p.m.; seventh to ninth grade, 6:30-8 p.m. The cost is $25 (cash only please) with a $10 optional t-shirt. Registration will be accepted until the first day of camp. Industrial summer tennis camp will be Monday to Wednesday, June 12-14, for incoming kindergarten to seniors. Beginner, K-2nd, $30, from 8-8:50 a.m.; Intermediate, 3rd-5th, $35, 9-9:50 a.m.; Advanced, 6th-8th, $40, 10-11 a.m.; High School, 9th-12th, $45, 11-1 p.m. Students must provide their own tennis racket and are encouraged to bring a water bottle. Industrial football camp will be Monday and Tuesday, July 17-18, at the Industrial High School Football Field. The cost of the camp is $35. Session I, all incoming 3rd-5th grade, 8:30-10 a.m., with a late registration of July 17 at 8 a.m. Session II for all incoming 6th-9th grades, 10-11:30 a.m., with a late registration of July 18 at 9:30 a.m.

Ganado mini cheer camp is July 24-26 from 9-11 in the pep rally gym. Forms can be picked up at the GISD administration building or found on the school website for info contact Tiffany Keszler at 361-771-8433.

Vacation Bible Schools
First United Methodist Church Vacation Bible School will be Sunday to Thursday, June 11-15, from 5-7:30 p.m. The theme is Hero Central. Ages 3 through fifth grade. Dinner will be provided. Call 782-3561 for more information.

Baptist Temple, Edna, will hold Vacation Bible School June 11 - 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. for ages 3 years through fifth grade.

Vanderbilt Baptist Church will hold Vacation Bible School from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., June 18-21 for children ages 5 through fifth grade. The theme is Galactic Starveyors.

St. James Lutheran Church and First United Methodist Church, Ganado, will co-host Vacation Bible School July 10 - 14 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. for grades kindergarten through fifth grade at St. James Lutheran Church. Registration forms are online at www.ganadofumc.com.

Redeemer Lutheran Church, Edna, will hold Vacation Bible School from 9:30 a.m. to noon, July 10-14 for ages 4 through fifth grade.

St. Paul Lutheran Church, Edna, will hold Vacation Bible School July 10-14 for ages 4 through fifth grade.

Lolita UMC will hold its Vacation Bible School July 16-19.
