Robin Parks Polk

Robin Parks Polk, 50, of Ganado, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017. Robin was born on May 18, 1966 in Ganado to Johnny and Carol Arnett Parks. She graduated from Ganado High School in 1984 and continued on to Cosmetology School, after operating her own salon in Ganado for several years, she then attended Victoria Nursing School to become an LVN. She worked for several years as a nurse for United Healthcare.
Robin married the love of her life, Matthew Polk, on March 28, 2017. With her love of music, Robin was a member of the Praise Band at First United Methodist Church in Ganado. Robin devoted her life to her family and taking care of others.
Robin is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Carol Arnett Parks, and Charles Peel; her grandparents, Wayne Arnett, Raymond and Jean Young, Oneeda and J.Y. Parks; and her cousin Kaylee Kacer.
Robin is survived by her husband Matthew Polk; her daughters Caylin Parks and Hannah Lindberg; her granddaughter Ryleigh Garcia; her step-children Trevor Polk, Mason Polk, Lexi Polk, and Aldan Polk; her brothers Allen and his wife Andrea Parks, Charles Peel, II, and Jonathan Peel; her sisters Katrina Galavotti and Charlamayne Peel; also numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be Monday, May 15, from 9 to 11:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. at The First United Methodist Church of Ganado officiated by the Rev. Mark Smith. Interment will immediately follow at Ganado City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bill Rakowitz, Roy Young, Anthony Parks, Thomas Parks, Jody Menely, Russell Kacer and Kirby Kacer.
The family suggest that in lieu of flowers, a memorial donation be made to the First United Methodist Church of Ganado.
