Sophie J. Paine, 99, died April 29, 2017 at Lane Nursing Home.
She is survived by her sister, Hazel Grady; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William E. Paine; and daughters, Betty E. Paine and Alice L. Paine.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in Edna, Texas at Memory Gardens.
Arrangements under the direction of Baker Funeral Home, 225-775-1991.
