Minna Vee Clements

Jesus brought our dear Minna Vee Archer Clements home on Wednesday May 3, 2017 around 3 a.m. in the dark of night resting in her bed longing for her new heavenly home with no pain and no tears at the age of 95.
Minna Vee called La Ward, Texas home and was born in Runge, Texas on Oct. 29, 1921 and raised in Wharton, to the late Rufus and Viola Archer as part of a 14-member family smack dab in the middle of the Great War and the Great Depression as part of the Great Generation that defeated tyranny in the Second World War and gave us the Golden Age of the 50’s.
Minna Vee was a true pioneer woman married to the late Ray Clements from Edna, rancher and cotton farmer galore, married April 1, 1939 for 61 years. She ran a mean household and didn’t take lip from any young “RugRat”. She was part of the German clan that settled in Texas as part of the Hoch’s in the 19th century. She was an elegant classy lady that feared the Lord and loved Jesus. She taught all of the kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, and great-great-grand kids the Golden Rule full of grace and mercy. She is probably sharing some oranges slices with Jesus the King as we speak.
Minna Vee is survived by her daughter, Patricia Lindley and husband Richard of Louise; her grandchildren, Dalton Jr. (Dee) and wife Lila Clements from Bay City, Leonard and wife Loretta Clements from East Bernard, Douglas Frenzel from Edna, Donald and wife Fredia Sutton from El Campo, Cynthia and husband Mark Milligan from Angleton, Johnny Sutton from Houston, Lana and husband Raymond Edwards from Edna, and Anna and husband Ronnie Bordelon from Monroe, La.; her great-grandchildren, Jarred and Jason Jennings, Dalton III, Dustin, Karina, Sarah, Jake, and Seth Clements, Justus and Jessica Milligan, David Lee and Janie St Clair, Kayelyn Korenek, Jenna Schmidt, Kyla Johnson, Taylor and Jacey Frenzel, Michelle, Amber, and Hannah Sutton; great-great grandchildren, Chloe and Ely Clements, Kason and Steven Jennings, and Tyler Schmidt; and her sister, Maxcine and a plethora of nieces and nephews.
Minna Vee was preceded in her ticket to her heavenly home by her mother, Viola Archer; her father, Rufus Archer; her husband, Ray Clements; her son, Dalton Clements Sr.; her daughter, Peggy Frenzel and husband George; her granddaughter, Rhonda Jennings; her great-grandchildren, Brazos and Courtney Clements; her brothers Dalton, Max, and Lindy; her sisters, Ester, Dorothy, Faye, Audrey, Geraldine, Oma Jean, and Mary Dee.
