Lorena Crabb

Lorena K. Crabb, 102, passed away April 18, 2017. She was born Nov. 25, 1914 in Yorktown, to John Frank and Theresa Kubala. Lorena married Earnest L. Crabb in 1932.
She is survived by her son, Wayne ( Margie) Crabb; daughters Yvonne Long and Barbara Kirby all of Edna; grandchildren, Sherri Utz, Jack (Joy ) Crabb, John (Pam) Crabb, Theresa (Trey) Wilke, and Dee Ann (Chris) Tindell; 11 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, son, Jack L.; brother, Leon Kubala; sister, Lillie Miller; son-in-laws, Stanley Kirby and John Henry Long; and grandson-in-law, Morris Utz.
Visitation will be Friday, April 21, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Slavik-Edna Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be Saturday at the Robison Street Church of Christ at 10:30 a.m. Graveside services will be at the City Cemetery in Hallettsville, at 3 p.m.
Pallbearers are Chris Tindell, Jack Crabb, John Crabb, Tommy Kubala, Jason Utz, Trey Wilke, Jess Crabb and Jacob Crabb. Honorary pallbearers are Sherrie Utz, Theresa Wilke, Dee Ann Tindell, Joy Crabb, and Pam Crabb.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of South Texas or donor's choice.
