Diane Willey

    Diane L. (Otto) Willey, 66, of Bedford, Pa. went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 22, 2016 at her home.     She was born on July 8, 1950 in New Paris, Pa. to the late Byron John and Mary Alice (Rouzer) Otto. In 1997 in Austin  she was united in marriage to James S. Willey. He preceded her in death on Feb. 8, 2015.     She is survived by a son Richard “Ricky” Wayne Wayde, Jr., of Bedford, Pa.; grandchildren Cody Nicholas Harry Wayde, Sunbury, Pa. and Brianna Paige Wayde, Bedford, Pa; one great-granddaughter Arabella Wayde; sister Ruth A. married to Stephen McCreary, New Paris, Pa; brother-in-law Clarence Grahmann, Edna, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.     She was preceded in death by Harry Otto, Jeane Hann, Russell Otto, Evelyn Grahmann and infant sister Mary Otto.     Diane attended Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church, Fishertown, Pa. She attended Chestnut Ridge High School. Over the years Diane worked at Hillcrest, Cannondale and did private cleaning for several families.     She enjoyed working in her flower beds, mowing grass, attending hymn sings, yard sales, shopping and her red Cadillac. Diane cherished her time spent with church family and her grandchildren.     Visitation was Nov. 25 at the Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church,  New Paris, Pa. The funeral service will be  Nov. 26 at the Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church with Pastor Daniel Oldham officiating.     Graveside service was Nov. 28 at Bedford County Memorial Park.     Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Diane Willey to the Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church, 1486 Quaker Valley Road, New Paris, PA 15554.     Arrangements under the direction of Akers Funeral Home, 814-635-2211.
