Juanita "Janie" Sanchez Lopez

    Juanita "Janie" Sanchez Lopez beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away on Sunday, Sept.11, 2016.     Left to carry on her legacy and her beautiful spirit are her husband of 46 years, Jesse G. Lopez, Jr., their children: Walter B. Lopez, Charles G (Janie) Lopez, Jackie (Adrian Flores, Yolanda (Adrian) Flores, and Yolanda (Paul) Garcia; their grandchildren were the love of her life: Jessica (Jesse) Gomez, P.J. (Eliza) Garcia, J.T. Flores, Jimmy Lopez, Jr., Charles (Janie) Lopez, A.J. (Rosemary) Flores, Pete (Alexis) Garcia, Angel (Karen) Lopez, Patric Garcia, Jesse J. Lopez. Also her great-grandchildren: McKayla, Jesse, Robby, Alexis, Jayden, Julie, Drew, Brooklyn, Amberlee, and Baby J;  siblings: Lupe (Neri) Flores, Romana (Ysidoro Casarez, Arthur (Diana) Sanchez, Jr. Theresa (Cruz) Zungia, Sally (Joe) Mojica, Connie Peralez, Viola (Paul) Tristan, Shelia (Daniel) Zarate, Martin (Cindy) Sanchez; and brother-In-Law Jimmy G. (Lupe) Lopez and Ruben Lopez.     She is preceded in death by her mother, Lupe Sanchez, and her in laws, Jesus and Refugio Lopez, brother-in-law, Daniel Peralez, her Godson, Daniel "Big D" Zarate, and her niece, Romana "Monie Casarez.     Visitation was Friday, Sept. 16, from 9 to 10 a.m. with a Rosary recited at 10 a.m. and funeral service beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Slavik~Edna Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Petering officiating.     Services have been entrusted to Russell Todish of Slavik~Edna Funeral Home, 361-782-2152.
