Cobras put Brahmas out to pasture

Kickoff time at Industrial came Aug.26, and Stockdale came for the spectacle as the Cobras branded the Brahmas 37-16.     Industrial showed effort early and it paid off, as a pile of Cobras buried the Stockdale quarterback under Logan Gabrysch, Jesse Rodriguez and Julian Sanchez in end zone at 8:02 for the first score. Cobra running back Avery Milner waltzed through an open door from his line from the Industrial side of midfield and Industrial was up 9-0 at 6:20 in the first.     “It was everything we could ask for from a first game,” said Industrial Head Coach Kensey Allen. “You could feel it from the kids this week and on the practice field, they felt like they had a shot to win. It's like I said earlier - confidence goes a long way. Our kids did a good job practicing and preparing and I told them after the game, this is where preparation meets execution. I thought we executed well and I told him the great thing is we made a lot of mistakes, but we still won the game.”
