American Legion to hold Memorial Day program

    American Legion Post 346 will honor those veterans that have sacrificed their lives for their country at the Legion Hall in Ganado on Monday, May 30 at 8 a.m.     Included on the program will be music by the Small Town Servants of Assumption Catholic Church, spiritual readings and a talk by veteran Leonard Strenadel of El Campo.     A representative with Congressman Blake Farenthold’s office will be on hand to present a citation to the Legion.     At the end of the ceremony, there will be a fly-over by Robbie Vajdos and his Wingman to honor those present and those remembered.     Following the ceremony, a breakfast will be served by the Knights of Columbus of Assumption Catholic Church.     The public is invited.
