Wanda Cox

Wanda Ardell Ingold Cox, 87, passed away peacefully on Feb. 12, 2016 surrounded by her family. Wanda was born on Jan. 3, 1929 in Bethalto, Ill. to Albert and Nona Baldwin Ingold.
Wanda was a loving, devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother with a great love for bingo and dominos. She spent the last nine years of her life at Ganado Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where she was much loved and cared for. She also held the position of secretary to the Director of Activities.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband O. Edward Cox, who passed away on Aug. 25, 1983; her brother Robert Ingold, sister Sheila Marie Pena, and her granddaughter Lori Beth Parker.
Wanda is survived by her nine children, Robert Vandalia of Alton, Ill., Reva Garris of Idaho, Carolyn Parker of Glenwood Springs, Colo., Michael Cox of Houston, Ray Vandalia, Greg Cox, Cheryl Denton, Michelle Benavides, and Steven Cox all of Ganado, also 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at Ganado Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, Feb. 27, at 10 a.m. with Mary Garcia officiating.
