Judy Srubar

Judith "Judy" Hajovsky Srubar, 91, of Ganado, passed away on Monday, Oct. 19, 2015. Judy was born on May 16, 1924 in Schulenburg to the late John A. and Mary Beran Hajovsky. She married John J. Srubar on Aug. 7, 1944 in Ganado. Judy was a member of Assumption Catholic Church in Ganado and of the SPJST.
Judy is survived by her daughters, Gloria Macha of Spring, and Joyce and Paul Bundick of Ganado. Also surviving are grandsons, Clinton and Emily Macha of Cypress, John Paul and Barbie Bundick of Ganado, and Michael and Erica Bundick of Manvel; great-grandchildren, Eugene Henry, Macy and Scarlett Macha, Garreth, Blake, Jordyn, Sly, and Lauren Bundick; also, brothers, George and Bernice Hajovsky, and Johnny and Joyce Hajovsky.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, John J. Srubar, her parents, her brothers, Jack, Syl, and I.G. Hajovsky, her sister, Margie Vick, and son-in-law, Eugene Macha. 
Pallbearers were Paul, John Paul, Michael and Garreth Bundick, Clint Macha and Kenneth Vick.
Visitation was on Oct. 21, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Ganado Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Oct. 22 at Assumption Catholic Church in Ganado with the Rosary recited at 10:30 a.m. and Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. with Rev. Michael Lyons officiating.  
Interment immediately followed at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Ganado.  
Service were entrusted to Russell Todish of Ganado Funeral Home, Ganado, 316-771-2120.
