Sallye Sue Mercer

    GANADO: Sallye Sue Mercer passed away in her home on October 21, 2015.  She was 67 years old, born on May 22, 1948 in Wharton County.  She was a resident of Jackson County since 1984.  A devoted wife of 33 years, she was survived by her husband Bert N. Mercer of Ganado, also her sons Tod Svatek and his wife Stefanie of East Bernard, TX, Wyatt Mercer of Victoria, TX, Michael Mercer and his wife Leah of Conway, Arkansas, her daughters; Mandy Jo Kliem of Ganado, TX, and Eva Dawn Kliem of Glenn Rose, TX, her eighteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her father; Will Kyle Churchill and her mother Ethel Cole Churchill of Boling, TX, as well as her brother and sister.
     Visitation was 5-7pm Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Ganado Funeral Home.
Funeral Services were held on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 10:30 am at Ganado Funeral Home, with a graveside service following at Greenlawn Cemetery in Richmond, TX at 1:30 pm.
     Pall bearers were; Thad Mercer, Jerry Svatek, Phillip Henry, Doug McCarty, Michael Johnson, and Norman Mercer.
