Early voting begins

Early voting for the Nov. 3 Constitutional Amendment election is underway in the Jackson County Clerk’s office. There are seven propositions on the Nov. 3 ballot for constitutional amendments. 
 
The Jackson County Clerk’s office is located in the county courthouse at 115 W. Main in Edna and early voting will take place during normal business hours.

Early voting is available for registered voters who will be out of Jackson County on election day and during the hours of early voting, are sick or disabled, are 65 years of age or older on election day or are confined in jail. Registered voters must present a photo ID to vote. Jackson County will issue Election Identification Certificates to county residents who do not already have an acceptable form of photo identification necessary to vote.
