Three schools compete in Moulton CC meet

    The Jackson County schools competed in a Moulton Cross-Country meet on Sept. 12. The girls ran two miles while the boys ran three miles. The Industrial Cobras, both boys and girls placed second overall, the girls with 73 points and the boys with 52 points. The Edna Cowgirls placed eighth with 171 points, and the Ganado Maidens placed tenth with 188 points.
    Cobras Cassidy High placed fourth with 13.33, Cheyenne Burton placed eighth with 14:19, Hannah Wood placed 19th with 14:58, Natalie Boldt placed 32nd with 15:40 and Sasha Salazar placed 34th with 15:44.
    Cobras Kevin Baez placed second with 16:00, Leo Baez placed seventh with 17:29, James Adams placed 15th with 18:46, Montavius Coleman placed 16th with 18:47 and Philip Kolodziejcyzk placed 20th with 19:30.
    Cowgirls Bailey Kirk placed 25th with 15:13, Fatima Cruces placed 37th with 15:48, Lesli Guzman placed 47th with 16:17, Sandra Salazar placed 52nd with 16:26, Dolly Ortiz placed 65th with 17:27, Marilyn Martinez placed 72nd with 18:01, Jessica Granados placed 73rd with 18:23, Marisol Martinez placed 74th with 18:25.
    Cowboys Holden Alegria placed 38th with 21:12, Zack Yendrey placed 46th with 21:41, Daniel Silva placed 47th with 21:43, and Tre Evans placed 69th with 26:06.
    Maidens Sierra Salazar placed 22th with 15.05, Cheyenne Galindo placed 23rd with 15.06, Emma Sulak placed 32th with 15.34, Chelsea Rohrman placed 54th with 16.59, Meagan Williams placed 73th with 18.39, Jazmin Garza placed 74th with 18.41, Haley Kelly placed 79th with 19.16.
    Indians Sergio Martinez placed 5th with 18.43, Garrett Long placed 61st with 24.23, Fernando Pacheco placed 62nd with 24.23 and Jacob Martinez placed 69th with 25.38.
    Industrial Junior Varsity boys placed fourth with 75 points.
    Junior Varsity Cobras Kristen Resendez placed 12th with 16.52, Hannah Hoffer placed 35th with 20.54, Hope Capak placed 38th with 21.43, Greta Wisofsky placed 40th with 22.35.
    Junior Varsity Cobras Alejandro Mujica placed ninth with 21.25, Ethan Drane placed 17th with 23.35, Hayden Daughtrey placed 18th with 24.02, Spencer Shilinga placed 23rd with a 26.15, Nick Kurtz placed 27th with 28.38 and Tyler James placed 29th with 34.15.
    Industrial Junior High girls placed sixth with 170 points, Ganado Junior High girls placed eighth with 265 points.
