Flag City Opry is June 16

Dottie Jack will headline the June 16 Flag City Opry. Jack hails from Bay City and is a Opry favorite. Also performing are Shawn Johnson of Texas City and Tyler Zapalac from Bellville. The Flag City Opry Band will round out the entertainment for the evening.
A meal of roast beef and gravy, buttered onion potatoes, green bean casserole, Caesar salad, rolls, and tea will be served at 5:45 for $8 a plate. Werner’s Restaurant of Shiner is the caterer. Homemade desserts, sodas and bottled water are available as a separate purchase benefitting local organizations.
Door prizes are held during intermission.
The show begins at 7 p.m. and tickets are $5 each.
The Flag City Opry is held in the auditorium of the Jackson County Services building auditorium, 411 N. Wells St., Edna.
