Fashion Show wows crowd at Arts Center

The Texana Center for the Arts held a benefit fashion show featuring Jackson County businesses on June 3. Local boutiques and shops sent models down the runway to show off the latest in their summer fashions, and the proceeds were collected to support the Arts Center.
Music played, models strutted, and spectators applauded as the show progressed. Models of all ages showed off clothes and jewelry that are available to purchase right here in Jackson County, demonstrating that one need not sacrifice style to shop locally.
Participating businesses were The Finishing Touch, The Parlour, Head to Toe, and Chris’ Jewelry, all in Edna, and The Sweetheart Boutique and Urban Western Wear in Ganado.
Jackson County Happy Tails Animal Shelter made an appearance, with adopted and adoptable dogs in pet fashions from Jackson County Veterinary Clinic, Lakeway Veterinary Clinic, Ganado Feed and More, and a flower bouquet donated by All About Flowers and Gifts.
