Jeanie Klimitchek

    Jeanie Marie Klimitchek, of Lolita, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the age of 71. She was born February 29, 1944, in Hallettsville, Texas, to the late James and Lovie Long. 
    Jeanie was a member of the Point Comfort Church of Christ and truly lived a Christian life. She worked for Industrial ISD for 27 years, touching the lives of many with her smile & generosity. She loved life, and she lived to love. She considered her grandchildren and great-grandchildren to be her greatest blessings.
    She is survived by her husband of 51 years, O’Daniel Klimitchek; daughter, Delana Jaeger and her husband David of Victoria; sons, Darrell Klimitchek and his wife Robyn of Victoria, Dwayne Klimitchek and his wife Missy of Edna and David Klimitchek of Victoria; sisters, Barbara Hamman of Victoria and Darlene Little and her husband George of Weimar; grandchildren, Jackelynn Erdelt, Collin Klimitchek, Kyle Klimitchek, Karsen Klimitchek, Amanda Smith, Mykaela Jaeger, Mackenzie Jaeger and Amber Dockins; great-grandchildren, Abigail, Alayna and Hallie Erdelt,  Bristol Smith, Remi and AiraBella Dockins and numerous nieces and nephews.
    She is preceded in death by her parents.
    Visitation will be held on Monday, April 6, 2015, from 5-7 p.m., in the Oaklawn Funeral Home Chapel of Edna. Funeral             Service will be on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. in the Oaklawn Funeral Home Chapel in Edna. Burial to follow with a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. in the Salem Cemetery in Ezzell, Texas.
    In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Crown Hospice, 1101 Salem Rd., Victoria, Texas 77904 or Donor’s Choice.
    Pallbearers will be Kyle Klimitchek, Karsen Klimitchek, Nathan Erdelt, Joey Smith, Donnie Migl and Preston Little.             Honorary pallbearers are Collin Klimitchek, Jackelynn Erdelt, Amanda Smith, Mykaela Jaeger and Mackenzie Jaeger.
