Edna graduate honored for ecological research

Doyle McKey, a 1967 graduate of Edna High School, has been awarded the French Ecological Society’s Grand Prize for Research for 2014. The French Ecological Society is France’s national professional society for academic researchers in ecology. The prize was announced at the Society’s annual meeting in Lille, France, in Dec. 2014.
“I learned of the recognition in the middle of November and I was really surprised and then quite pleased,” McKey said. “The first thing I did was communicate it to my graduate students and colleagues.”
