50 points for #50

The Edna Cowboys won their Regional game on Saturday night in New Braunfels against Ingram Moore with a final score of 50-28. Truly, the 'Boys scored 50 points and did it with unending thoughts of #50 Noah Ortiz.

At the bottom of the second quarter the Cowboys were leading 12-7 and continued that lead into halftime, with the numbers at 20-7. By the end of the third quarter the 'Boys, still leading, widened it to 30-21. DeOntae Jones scored a touchdown at the beginning of the fourth, making it 37-21. 

With 6:41 left in the fourth quarter Marquis Broussard scored and the point after was good, making it 44-21. Jones scored again about two minutes later, and the Cowboys cemented their lead, making it 50-28.
