The Edna Cowgirls lost a hard-fought battle 3-1 against the Hallettsville Lady Brahmas in Victoria on Friday night with final scores of 25-10, 25-22 Edna, 27-25 and 25-18.
Head coach Rachel Collins said the team is really strong and she's proud of what they've accomplished. "They stepped up and pushed themselves," she said.
The Cowgirls are still in a playoff situation as co-district champs and will know more of their next game after Goliad plays Stockdale on Saturday, Nov. 1.
