Edgar Mac Comeaux
Edgar Malcolm Comeaux, of Edna, passed away Monday, Aug. 18, 2014 at the age of 63. He was born in Crowley, La., on Jan. 6, 1951, to Vera Mae Harrah-White and the late Harry Joseph Comeaux.
He was a very well known carpet and flooring installer in the Jackson county area for many years. He was a loving husband, son, brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Mac will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Mac is survived by his loving wife, Paula Jo Comeaux; mother, Vera Mae Harrah-White and husband Henry White of Edna; daughter, Tanya Johnson and husband Rick of Houston; sons, Dwight Comeaux and wife Jessica of Edna and Heath Janecka and wife Lou of Houston; sister, Bonnie Beth Rowe and husband Harry of Streetman; brothers, Harry J. Comeaux and wife Bobbie of Houston and Maxwell J. Harrah and wife Vanessa of Edna; grandson, Shaughn T. Comeaux of Edna; and great-grandson, Johnathon Aldana of Houston.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 24 with funeral services directly following at 3 p.m., at the First Baptist Church of Edna. Reverend Robert Krause will be officiating.
Pallbearers will be Harry J. Comeaux, Rick Johnson, Heath Janecka, Eric Henson, Terry Franks and Mitchell Magninat. Honorary pallbearers are Dwight Comeaux, Andrew Magninat and Henry White.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be donated to the Texas Children’s Hospital, 6621 Fannin St., Houston, Tx. 77030.
