Edna council approves e-cigarette ordinance

The Edna City Council met July 7 and approved the second reading of an ordinance that would add e-cigarettes to the town's smoking ordinance. Council member Maxine Price said she had seen an article recently that said the cigarettes could contain nicotine. No one from the public was at the meeting with comments. Council also approved the second and final reading of ordinances regulating the size of pens for fowl and prohibiting roosters inside the city limits.
